Flames overcome Budaj’s 47 saves in win (AP)

Colorado Avalanche goalie Peter Budaj, of Slovakia, looks back as the Calgary Flames' winning goal enters the net during third period NHL hockey action in Calgary, Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. The Calgary Flames beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-1.

Rene Bourque, Adrian Aucoin, Jarome Iginla and David Moss scored for the Calgary Flames, who blitzed Peter Budaj and the Colorado Avalanche with 51 shots in a 4-1 victory Tuesday night. Marek Svatos had the lone goal for the Avalanche, whose winning streak ended at three. Colorado will head home after going 2-1 on a road trip that included shootout victories at Vancouver and Edmonton.
