Chicago wins behind Byfuglien’s 4 points (AP)

Chicago Blackhawks's Dustin Byfuglien winds up before passing the puck during the second period of their hockey game against the Phoenix Coyotes in Chicago, Friday, Nov. 30, 2007. Byfuglien scored a hat trick in the first period.

Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien scored three consecutive goals in the first period for his first multigoal game and added an assist in the Chicago Blackhawks’ 6-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday night. Tuomo Ruutu added two goals, rookie Jonathan Toews had a goal and two assists, and NHL rookie scoring leader Patrick Kane also had two assists.
