The Anaheim Ducks have put defensemen Brett Festerling and Danny Syvret on waivers. The Ducks made the moves Thursday. Festerling scored three points in 42 games with Anaheim last year in his second NHL season, but has played in just one exhibition game this fall. The Edmonton Oilers have waived defenseman Sheldon Souray and goalie Martin Gerber.
