Documents cast doubt on Coyotes sale (AP)

A flood of court documents on Friday cast doubt on whether the Phoenix Coyotes can be sold in Wednesday's scheduled auction. U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Redfield T. NHL probing Hossa’s deal with Chicago (AP)

The NHL is investigating Marian Hossa's 12-year, $62.8 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. The league confirmed on Friday that it is looking into the deal, but would have no further comment until the investigation is completed. Blues sign former Senators D Bell (AP)

The St. Louis Blues have signed defenseman Brendan Bell, who played with the Ottawa Senators last season. The deal was announced on Friday. The 26-year-old played in 53 games for the Senators, getting six goals and 15 assists along with 24 penalty minutes. Caps’ Jurcina re-signs after arbitration (AP)

Defenseman Milan Jurcina has re-signed with the Washington Capitals after being awarded a one-year $1.375 million contract through arbitration. The deal was announced on Friday. Jurcina played in 79 of 82 games last season, leading all Capitals defensemen. Flyers, D Tollefsen agree to 1-year deal (AP)

The Philadelphia Flyers and defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen have agreed to a one-year contract. The 25-year-old Tollefsen played in 19 games last season with the Columbus Blue Jackets, but he missed 39 regular-season games and all four in the playoffs due to injury. KHL registers contract of Wings’ Hudler (AP)

Russia's Kontinental Hockey League completed a contract with Detroit Red Wings forward Jiri Hudler on Thursday. The KHL registered Hudler's two-year, $10 million contract in Moscow. Coyotes documents to remain sealed (AP)

A judge has ruled that most of the documents detailing talks between Glendale officials and bidders for the bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes will remain sealed. Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Edward Burke said Friday only 34 of the 322 pages of documents must be made public.
